Improving Birth: Know your Options

Nashville really showed they cared about Birth this Labor Day. There was a huge turn out at the National Rally for Change at Centennial Park Monday morning. We gathered together to support Nashville’s birth community and to educate and raise awareness about ways to improve maternity care. While, here in Tennessee, women have many options when it comes to various care providers and birth places, the purpose of the rally was to raise awareness and encourage women and their partners learn about their options and to seek out practitioners who practice evidence based care. We had a blast and thought you might want to see us in our birth activist mode, not like you haven’t already, but we have colorful signs this time!
